ExpatDoc Online has taken great care in the development and presentation of this website and its services. However, occasional errors or interruptions may occur, for which we cannot accept liability. By using this site and our services, you agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions outlined below.


1. Definitions

  • “You”, “Your”: the individual using this website, booking consultations, or requesting services.
  • “We”, “Our”, “Us”: ExpatDoc Online, operated by Prosperity Health Ltd, incorporated in the Republic of Ireland with company registration number 742850, registered office at 10 The Close, Silver Banks, Stamullen, County Meath.
  • “Website” or “Site”: https://www.expatdoctoronline.ie and its connected pages that allow online consultations, prescriptions, health advice, and related telemedicine services.

2. Acceptance and Changes to Terms

By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We may amend them at any time, and changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of any updates.


3. Eligibility & User Obligations

  • You must be 18 years or older to use our services, unless acting as a legal guardian for a minor.
  • You agree not to share your login details with third parties.
  • You confirm that all information provided is accurate, complete, and truthful.
  • You will not create accounts or complete consultations on behalf of anyone else unless you are their legal guardian.

4. Medical Consultations & Prescriptions

  • All prescribing doctors on ExpatDoc Online live and work in Ireland and are registered with the Irish Medical Council. Prescriptions issued via our platform are valid in Irish pharmacies.
  • Our doctors rely on the information you provide. We are not liable for adverse outcomes where inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information is given.
  • Medications prescribed are for personal use only. You must not share them with others.
  • Prescriptions are issued at the doctor’s sole discretion and cannot be guaranteed.
  • You agree to read all instructions provided by the doctor, pharmacist, and medication manufacturer before use.
  • You should inform your regular GP about any treatment, prescriptions, or advice received through ExpatDoc Online.

5. Patient Responsibility

  • You agree to promptly inform our doctors about side effects or concerns related to treatment.
  • You acknowledge that ExpatDoc Online does not replace your GP and that you should seek in-person care when advised or in emergencies.
  • If you do not understand medical advice or questionnaire questions, you agree to seek clarification before proceeding.

6. Payments

  • You must provide valid payment details and confirm you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
  • Prices are clearly displayed on the Website and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Online Consultations

  • Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hours in advance free of charge.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged in full.

Online Prescription Requests

  • Cancellation requests may be made within 3 hours of purchase (or 3 hours into the next working day if outside operating hours).
  • If a prescription is issued, refunds cannot be granted.
  • If a prescription request is refused on medical safety grounds, a refund or alternative service may be offered.

Home Test Kits (if applicable)

  • You may cancel within 14 days of receipt if the kit is unopened and unused.
  • Opened or tampered kits cannot be refunded due to hygiene and safety reasons.

Refunds, where applicable, are processed back to the original payment method within 1–10 business days.


8. Acceptable Patient Behaviour

  • Patients and staff are expected to engage with mutual respect.
  • Aggressive, abusive, or threatening behaviour towards staff may result in termination of access to our services.

9. Feedback and Complaints:

  • Feedback and complaints can be made in writing to Data Manager, ExpatDoc Online, 10 The Close, Silver Banks, Stamullen, Co. Meath, or via our website at www.expatdoctoronline.ie
  • All complaints will be acknowledged within 3 working days, and a full response will be provided within 10 working days.
  • We welcome all feedback to help us continually improve the quality and safety of our telemedicine services.

10. Disclaimer

  • ExpatDoc Online strives to provide accurate, safe, and reliable healthcare. However, we make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted access, outcomes of consultations, or suitability of treatments.
  • Our services are not a substitute for emergency care. In urgent cases, you must contact 999/112 or attend the nearest emergency department.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

  • By using our services, you consent to the processing of your personal and health data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
  • Information may be shared securely with our medical team for the purposes of providing healthcare.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
  • You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts for any disputes.
